Supreme court decisions serve as precedents on future cases of similar form and character. They are laws by themselves and stand until overturned by the supreme court.How can supreme court decisions affect both the state and trial court cases?
Supreme Court decisions affect the state and lower court cases because their power is over all law and equity that exists in the United States. That means they pretty much control everything lol.
