you can try:
freecycle.com
pawn shops (you might not get anything for them but they might be able to use them)
thrift stores
schools might use them too if they sell cd's or dvd's of certain school performances. maybe even your local college could use them. How can I dispose of my CD(jewel) cases in an eco- friendly way?
No no no!Do not throw them away!I have a GREAT sollution that is hip and cool, awesome, and makes a GREAT room decoration! You will be SURE to love it!Please visit my blog for the tutorial!!!

definately try www.freecycle.org to see if u have one in ur area. if not start one. I have recieved TONS of jeweled cases offa there and am happy. They also have other nice things and is an excellant resource to keep landfills cleaner ;)
The jewel cases are just plastic and so can be recycled in the normal way (our local authority collects hard plastics, not film, together with tins %26amp; paper fortnightly)
the CDs themselves are harder because they contain metal http://www.reuze.co.uk/cds.shtml
Lisa McCartney and Mary Ellen Montana are art teachers at Lehigh Senior High. They use CD cases for senior photography projects. Also you may place white paper inside, hot glue them together and create a recycled dry erase board. J
You should reuse before you recycle. You should know that!
Just give them away. For all of the people with a surplus of CD cases, there are just as many who need some. Try freecycle, Craig's list, etc.
Unfortunately, I don't know of any business taking them for recycling. That said, I've offered empty CD jewel cases on freecycle numerous times and they are always in demand.
mail them back to the people who use them, offer them to your library for use, reusing uses much less energy than recycling, see if your school needs any at its library
oh my, i didn't realize it was that bad.
